started to like doing this thing... i don't even know what it's called. cutting-paper-into-shapes-and-put-them-together-art? kinda inspired by liga kitchen tho hahaha.
anyway, the title is not only refer to that crappy thing above. i'm eagerly waiting for the Red Riding Hood movie, which starring one of my favorite actress, Amanda Seyfried.


from what i saw on the trailer, i assume the story is about a girl who is arranged to marry a nice rich guy but she falls in love with another guy. meanwhile in that village, there's a series of murders done by a wolf. *SPOILER* turns out that the another guy is the werewolf.




hopefully hollywood movies will be no longer restricted when this movie comes out :) i think it's gonna be awsum!!!!

finally. what got us through these exhausting 6 months. the prize of non-stop hard works. the light at the end of a tunnel. HOLIDAY!!!!!
or holy day, since christmas is coming. though i don't celebrate it. so in this winter holiday (though i don't have winter as well) i have many things that i plan to do. like a trip to another country. speaking of another country, after completed watching the full episodes of antm cycle 15 (I love Jane!!!) and have watched Eat Pray Love (with slightly sleepiness and constant inner monologue 'when will this movie ends???'), now i declare that i want to go to Italy. Italy like have... everything. they have the fashion capital (Milan), they have the foods (pasta, pizza, gelato, and thousands other), they have the scenery (the canal city, Venice! and those ruins in Rome!), and plenty other things that i believe just make Italy more visit-worthy.
and when i told my mom the idea of going outside the country this holiday, she promptly started blabbering about how much we spend on building our new house and how i already spent too much money for stuffs and how my sister is going to high school this year and that sure spends a lot and blablablablablabla and in the end all that long time-consuming monologue just means one answer: NO. there goes my Italy...... blublublublublub *sound: toilet flush*
so all i did this holiday so far is......

WATCHING TV


in the morning, at noon, in the evening, at night.... and it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on........ this is going to be the most boring holiday ever.

i have abandoned this blog for a liiiiittle too long. i always have the urge for blogging but i can't figure out what i want to write, and that keeps going on till days have passed. but here i am again :)
aaaaaaand as you can probably notice, i've (again) change the whole layout theme. hahaha. humans are never satisfied. it's just hurting my eyes seeing too much colors so i get rid off the illustrations and colors and keep it simple. or boring.
no big change happens... just daily stuffs. but i think there's going to be a lot of riddles in this term. let's see wheter it's a good thing or the opposite.
there's tons of homeworks, and as i always am, i never finish any. haha. such a lazy ass. by the way, schoolympic already started. if you don't know what schoolympic is, you must live in the cave. just kidding. click here for details.

doodle & things

well hello..... it's been forever since my last post. i don't know what's going on. apparently i lost my mood for blogging, so i spent the last two weeks (which happen to be an inappropriately short holiday) by watching tv, reading, and swimming + cycling twice a week. and doodling.

i don't know why exactly i doodle that..... oh i do. i was watching bride wars and there's a dialogue when liv said to emma "....if i was your wedding, i would sleep with one eye open." or somekind like that.

things i splurged on lately:
1. camera case for the mighty diana mini
2. the magician by lev grossman. oh the glasses aren't new.... it's there to accompany the book so it won't feel lonely (wtf???)
3. yellow binder and flower post-it to welcome the new term... yay...

so that's all for now. gotta go threatening the headmaster to lengthen the holiday...... just kidding. bubye. smooch.

family doesn't always have the same blood

they're my hostparents when i was staying at united states. the first picture is becky and chuck elston, with widya, bunga and i. becky and chuck are my hostparents in hendersonville. they have a cute beagle named ellie. the second picture is wanda and le roy rogers, with inas and i. they're my hostparents in knoxville.

i'm amazed how these people embraced us as their own family. they barely knew us, yet let us stayed in their cribs. i think that's really the purpose of citizen exchange. to welcome strangers as your own. and that is really what had happened. we came as strangers, but we left as a family.

hi! soooo you must remember the 'project' i've told you before (which is not actually a project) so here it is! i initially named this 'summer girls' but since the background pictures are obviously not taken in summer, i changed it to sunglassed girls (since they are all wearing sungglasses, get it?) and the actual reason why i drew girls with sunglasses is....... i can't draw eyes. there i've said it. i can, but they will look funny and more like cat's eye instead of human's.






phew! that's a wrap. wish i'd draw more than this but it will certainly took forever soooo i decided to post these first. maybe part 2? no? hahaha. which one is your favourite? mine is the second, the one who hold red popsicle. my least favourite of course the last picture. i mean, which sane people would go out at night wearing sunglasses???? that's just blatantly stupid. and i hate her clothes (bikini printed t-shirt???? what was i thinking???).

hello yellow

well i haven't posted anything in about... what? 3 days? yaaaaaaa i'm really sorry for the lack of posts, tough i'm not sure anyone mind. i was busy laying around my bed all day (yes, that's an activity) and practice saman for a competition which is held this morning. i don't know wether we win or lost. probably the latter. :(
soooooooo how are ya doin everybody? i really don't know what to say. oh, do you watch the world cup? i'm not really keen on football. and what i mean is i can't find what's the fun thing of watching guys running around fight over a ball. tough i know some players, like cesc fabregas..... and i know him only because he's handsome ha ha ha, not because his skill.
anyhow, i'm making some project right now! not really a project tough. just some random drawings which later i realize have something in common and i thought 'well, this is a set of illustration! this is a project' which is actually not and i like to call it 'project' because it sounds cooler than just 'illustrations'. and i kinda perfectionist about it so it took a hell looooong time to finish. anywaaaaay the first picture is just a random (and by random i mean really messy) doodle because i'm not really in the mood. and the second one is a set of origami in narita airport, tokyo. (narita is not as good as i expected. changi is waaaaaay more better).

i have a weird affection toward round pictures. i think they are more..... sophisticated. keep this in mind everytime i post pictures that are round instead of rectangle.
anyway, final exam is over! yay!!!! though there's still remedials..... and tasks..... well i put them on the very back of my brain. i'll work on them later. by the way, what do you think on the first picture? i kinda experimented on it. which drawings do you prefer? this one or the usual drawing (with borders)? oh and the second picture is the russian dolls... i don't know what they're called. they are my hostparent's, back in hendersonville.
so, how's life treated you so far? mine is kinda upside down. which is normal. i'm not the type of person who likes to mourning over tragedy.... i can be sad of course. but i don't like to show it. i forget about that whenever i'm around people, well, not completely forget, but at least i can laugh it off. and i don't like to tell people about my feeling publicly either. like in twitter, for example. people will ask me 'what's wrong' and then i'll tell them via twitter and everyone can read it.... that's a nightmare. at least for me. anyway, what's your plan for holiday? i don't have any plan yet.... any recommendation? ;)

exams in a row

wish me the greatest luck. i need to make my parents proud. i want to enter science class. i want to be in top 10 class rank (or 5......if possible). please please God make these happen.
anyway, 10th grade is almost over. gonna miss my classmates. gonna miss being a freshman. life goes on, though. all you need to do is adapt to the new situation.

hi!!!!

i know. i know. i'm such a big fat liar. i should have posted last week but too bad school has made me so freakin busy. it's like i don't have weekends anymore! just like today. i supposedly layin around my bed all day long but i had to make my english homework with my group. and now i'm so sleepy because i sleep late yesterday (because i watched 3 episodes of glee! oh gosh i love that show) and i was sleepless for the last two days so i am very very very sleepy now. anyway, i haven't draw anything much. i did draw something, tough.

boredom is really the time of creativity. i drew that at superbly boring biology class. talking about biology, i often pretended to like that subject when i honestly not. i hate biology. but i'd like to say my favourite subject is biology because i wanna be an orthodentist (the dentist who make braces. well, you know). honestly i don't wanna be an orthodentist that much. my mom's a dentist and she kinda wants one of her children to have the same profession as she is. and i know orthodentists are usually whealty and i don't know what i wanna be when i grow up so i was like... well, okay.

anyway....... i'm so sleepy. gonna hit the hay soon. arrivederci!

the princess & the pauper

as usual, today's subjects are deadly boring. and as usual, i wasted the time by sketching. i drew a sunglassed-bikini-girl in my notebook, and my chairmate said it was really good so i made another. and other. and other. from all sketches i decided these 2 are the best. (the background were randomly grabbed from google. please tell me if those are yours.) making these was hella fun, so expect something like these in the future ;)
anyway, i'll leave on sunday, which means the day after tomorrow. oooooooh i'm so excited yet anxious. i'm surely going to miss my family, friends, classmate, him....... haha. well it's already late i probably should sleep by now, so, arrivederci!
